California beckons!

To all those who seek a new start in a country of plenty, I would give you California! I've even sent Jerry Brown a letter asking that he throw open his state to absolutely anyone in the world who would like to enjoy a free ride... You know, until they could really settle in to the Welfare concept and all...

Perhaps LA could erect a giant statue in their bay, with a large sign that would proclaim:

Give us your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to enjoy the bounty of others! Come ye, the wretched refuse, the genetic slag, the malcontents, terrorists, crooks, hairballs and drug traffickers here to our LA shore. Oh wretched World, send the Golden State your worthless, most vile unto me, I lift my lamp of plenty beside that golden door!

I would even like to enjoin the State of California to possibly fund and develop a high speed free rail system directly linking South American countries, (with express service through Mexico) to select cities like San Diego, LA, San Jose and San Francisco. Trains arriving each day, like clockwork, loaded with teeming masses of the illiterate and the poor who could be dumped directly into American society and Gov Jerry Brown's lap – (I bet that the effect to the Calif economy would be sort of like a junkie injecting black tar heroin into his scrotum sack). Wow! Just think of the rush Jerry, not to mention all those brand new Democratic voters!

An aside: This article was not about the people of California, but rather what I feel are political and infrastructural issues that desperately need addressing! As an official sanctuary state, California thumbs its nose at the rule of law. Not a good thing for our Nation. I also made a glancing sort of reference to the Express train that Gov Jerry Brown promised would cost 30 billion, but which is now estimated at twice twice that amount, is behind schedule and is not supported by private concerns...

California, you are getting disgusting!

In a move that is sure to be copied all over the state, officials in San Francisco approved the installation of open air urinals near Delores Park. This latest bit of insanity is just another example of why it may be prudent, at some point, to give this degenerate state to Mexico. I mean since it's looking more and more like a shit hole every day.

I'd ask Americans this. Are you really happy with what's happening? This country is the hope of a world. And, we are letting billions down....I pray, nightly, that someone will rise up and restore the principles that the Founding Fathers envisioned. That those principles are made good either by legal process or by the will of the people.... That blood might yet again be shed on the alter of freedom will not be the first time... and probably not the last!

California's a shakin – Is the Big One coming?

Ask the citizens living in LA about the two earthquakes that occurred within weeks of each other and you'll likely get differing responses! Some think they were no big deal, while others worry that these could be 'fore-shocks' that may be in advance of a much larger quake yet to come. (A quake that could destroy much of Los Angeles as has been predicted by some seismologists). Why, because the Puente Hills fault, which scientists believe might be responsible for Friday's 5.1 earthquake in La Habra, is considered very dangerous and could generate a quake in excess of 7.5 on the Richter scale. The Puente Hills thrust fault is considered very dangerous because of its location, running as it does from the suburbs of northern Orange County, through the San Gabriel Valley and under the skyscrapers of downtown Los Angeles before ending in Hollywood.

The Puente Hills fault could also be considered especially hazardous over an extended area because of its unique shape. Other local faults, like the Newport-Inglewood and Hollywood, are a collection of vertical cracks, with the most intense shaking occurring near where the fault reaches the surface. The Puente Hills, on the other hand, is a horizontal fault with intense shaking likely to be felt over a much larger area; some estimate roughly 25 by 15 miles – And, that could spell disaster on a scale few could imagine!

On a side note. Imagine the effect such a quake would have on the American economy! Thank goodness we have the progressive leadership shown by the Obama Administration ready and willing to tackle whatever may come! Please remember that Obama, Harry Reid and the rest of the Democrats are busy busy busy, even as you sleep!

I feel the California Fitted Sheet law is needed Nationwide

California has shown its leadership ability once more in crafting a new law that will make it illegal for hotels to use flat sheets on their beds. a law that, if passed,  will saddle the already hurting hotel industry with an additional $30 million in added costs.

The fitted-sheet bill is the brainchild of State Senator Kevin De Leon (a Democrat from Los Angeles), whose mother suffered back pains while working as a hotel maid. (I am so not making this up)! Kevin has been quoted as saying this was “an issue close to my heart.” It is also a bill that has the support of Big Labor. Sen. De Leon’s bill passed through the State Senate in June, but not before some spirited debate, including a statement from one of the two dissenters, State Senator Sam Blakeslee; “We are now going to make it a crime in California not to use a fitted sheet?” Really? Yes, really. And about time too. The fitted sheet law will be a great boon to local labor unions and may soon require local police departments to hire additional personnel known as ‘mattress cops’ to police the thousands and thousand of hotels across the state. Hey! Great use of manpower you Dimocrats!

California, which is now only $26 billion in debt, is not worried about the added costs as they are confident the American People will bail them out as needed. There are even rumors (started by moi) that this law may be taken up by the White House as a way to further ‘stimulate the economy’! When asked about the exciting prospect of creating new union companies to produce bed sheets on such a level, one Washington insider was quick to point out that no, most of the sheets would be made in China not the US. Well, hang it all! Anyway, be sure to send Senator De Leon a note telling him what a swell job he and the Democrats are doing.
