'Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the
priest of Midian, and he led the flock to the far side of the
wilderness and came to Horeb, the mountain of God. There the angel of
the Lord appeared to him in flames of fire from within a bush. Moses
saw that though the bush was on fire it did not burn up. So Moses
thought, “I will go over and see this strange sight—why the bush
does not burn up.”
When the Lord saw that he had gone over to look, God called to him
from within the bush, “Moses! Moses!”
And Moses said, “Here I am.”
“Do not come any closer,” God said. “Take off your sandals,
for the place where you are standing is holy ground.” Then he said,
“I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac
and the God of Jacob.” At this, Moses hid his face, because he was
afraid to look at God.'
To this day, anyone looking at the Creator could go blind. All of us exist by His Light that shines on all of us. The just and the unjust are seen... Get a grip everyone... Life is very short. Make that time work, not just for yourself, but also for good friends and family. At the end of days, our individual body's will turn to dust. Even as, the very essence of what makes us unique, will rise to new challenges.
Some political commentary, a little science & reviews on fast food and maybe a few songs! Got a problem with that? OK, so I'm an acquired taste...

Jesus in Gethsemane Park!
As this crazy world swirls
around us all. Sometimes, we may forget what is really important!
We are all made in His
image, I believe. Our start is at birth, our transition is at death.
The span of each of our
existences, very precious in this world
and yet..
'Praise God and rejoice to know that the Creator, His Son and the virgin Mary
are with each of us, for this and each second of our lives:
All our trials of body, those good times and bad. The fears we all have, the pains we all garner with age...
And, when the darkness closes in on each of us, at the end of day.
And, when it all seems so pointless. A new dawn breaks.
Have great joy, everyone!
For, God is the Light, the Way and the Course forward,
Forever!' Duh
A side note from me, they don't thech typing in heaven or here on earht!
Just better times...'DanO is an idiot' - God. BTW Dan calls me Skippy! WTF?

No! Despite the rumors that this group is largely comprised of homosexuals, atheists and Democrats with a smattering of neo Nazi’s thrown in for good measure, I’ve found one or two to be highly intelligent as they were able to respond in words that had more than one syllable.
I can even see their point as outlined by my friend who is a member. According to him, a government that was founded on moral principles as defined by the Bible, should never have any mention of that actual book, (which shall not be named here again). No! The Federal government, according to their supposed viewpoint, should be a highly sterile construct where everyone (no matter how loony they may be) is allowed in as a citizen – (Uh, just so long as they don’t start blowing stuff up)! So, all you whack jobs, hairballs and genetic misfits! This is the club for you!
Last word (as in not The Word from you know who) – Anyone who yearns to tell other people how to live their lives, what to think, how to dress and what to believe… Well, now you have an organization that doesn’t have the word Democrat in it somewhere! Please! Send this group some email describing how much you love them....

Earth and the moon from a million miles out....
Hey! My name is DanO and I occasionally live on a distant rocky asteroid that is very dark, except for a lighted cross, just down a small path from my modest home. (One I built both over a long time).
Every once in a while, when I'm there, I will walk over to a small window and view the earth which looks a lot like a bright star a this distance. No, it's not really a star, but a solitary planet along with its special moon. It's special, you see, as that moon was part of the ejecta due to a very remote collision and which gave Earth both a spin and a tilt. It gave the planet a 24 hour day and the seasons that allowed for the creation of life over billions of years. (Perhaps that was Gods' way of kick starting us all on our evolutionary path). Billions of years later, this world is now fighting for its very surival.

On this day!
I'm never sure where I go in the world - my only beacon is God - a very bright and shining star on stormy seas! And strangely, I'm very sure of His existence, whereas others are not...
