The upcoming impeachment hearings for 2021!

After Trump wins the 2020 election cycle and remains President for another four years, Democrats are very likely to continue on in what has become the tradition of unseating the un-seatable.

December 2020 – As newly elected President Donald Trump prepares to march the Nation forward for a new term, beginning in January 2021, Democrats will be spending all their time trying to impeach him on some brand new charges of potential Presidential misconduct.

As I had an ear to that rumor mill, here were just a few of the 'hot' topics that I understand are being talked about behind very closed doors....

  • Charges of potential criminal larceny, to be filed, for the intentional misappropriation of funds for such items as White House toilet paper. Code name 'Shit Storm'.
  • An investigation into a potential sex scandal involving many high up Chinese government women. Code name 'Ah So'.
  • Gathering evidence that Trump was secretly working with Russia on developing an intelligent fungus that would replace people via absorption. This accomplished through the manipulation of the earth's magnetosphere that would cause everyone, (excepting those Democrats who had a working symbiotic relationship with the aforementioned fungus) to regain power! Code name 'A Fungus Among Us'.

If any of these investigation proved to be true, it would be an existential threat to Democracy, the US Constitution, black people and the World at large.

Random thoughts for February 2018!

The dregs of winter!

I think of early February as a period that signifies both the midpoint of each winter and a focus of my discontent. It's the midpoint of winter, as the sludge of 2017 have not yet completely dissolved off me while the promise of yet another spring is still far off! A period of time when I often find myself falling back into old habits. Let me count a few off; slothfulness, gluttony and a general lack of any desire to exercise. (Two of those are major league sins, while the last is just me being stupid....)!

Fisa, piza, niza! Who really cares?

All that there seems to be in the way of political news has been the forever crusade to find Trump guilty of something. Anything! Womanizing, colluding with the Russians and even insanity top the charts for more than a year! And while this has been a white hot topic, for many on the Left, it has left me searching the channels for something else to watch. Sadly, advertising has now taken up the lion's share of most show's. I've even managed to surge a series of twelve stations in a row, never once hitting on anything other than ads for stuff I'll never buy. I can now see a time, where that tube will get someday get turned off, never to be restarted by moi... Too much garbage in too small a can.

Elvis has left the building!

As the midterm elections draw within sight, a veritable host of Republican Senators and Representatives are throwing in the towel and have announced their retirements. Even, Tray Gowdy, a man who some thought might try for the presidency has given up. This wave of Republicans will leave the door wide open for many weird minded Democrats to fill some seats in November. Putting these people in positions of power will be much like handing the keys over to you 17 year old hormone crazed kid and telling him, 'Go do what you want!' Well, it could make for a few interesting stories for the boob tube bunch...

Mediacom. A poster child for the limp!

After subscribing to Mediacom, a cable provider, for well over ten years. I can attest to fact that the number of outages I've experienced number far too many for me to remember. The company seems to put millions into advertising, but precious few pennies into infrastructure. Mediacom, a company that offers great discounts to new subscribers (for a year), and then seems to suffer amnesia soon thereafter. Mediacom, a company who fully takes advantage of being a true monopoly. King of the hill and Lord of the Flies!

Thoreau on Civil Disobedience!

In 1849, Henry David Thoreau wrote a paper titled 'Resistance to Civil Goverment'. And, while they may have spelled the word 'government' differently back in those days, never have such words had such timely import! Today we refer to the intent of his essay as the practice of 'civil Disobedience'.

Thoreau begins his paper with, 'I heartily accept the motto, "That government is best which governs least"; and I should like to see it acted up to more rapidly and systematically. Carried out, it finally amounts to this, which also I believe—"That government is best which governs not at all"; and when men are prepared for it, that will be the kind of government which they will have. Government is at best but an expedient; but most governments are usually, and all governments are sometimes, inexpedient. The objections which have been brought against a standing army, and they are many and weighty, and deserve to prevail, may also at last be brought against a standing government. The standing army is only an arm of the standing government. The government itself, which is only the mode which the people have chosen to execute their will, is equally liable to be abused and perverted before the people can act through it.' [I supplied the bold type]

Those words really struck home, for me. As a Nation, we are preparing to elect a known crook and congenital liar to the land's highest office, in my opinion! When Hillary Rodhammer Clinton takes the pledge of office on or about January the 21st, the words she speaks that day will be meaningless other than perhaps to represent one of the final nails in the coffin containing the remains of a once great Republic.

Thoreau then goes on to state that it is never a government the propels a country to greatness, but rather the character of the masses, contained therein, that gets the job done. In his words, 'Yet this government never of itself furthered any enterprise, but by the alacrity with which it got out of its way. It does not keep the country free. It does not settle the West. It does not educate. The character inherent in the American people has done all that has been accomplished; and it would have done somewhat more, if the government had not sometimes got in its way.'

I doubt that old Henry would have believed the horrific state of this country in 2016. Back in his day, the 'structure of control on the Delaware' was vastly less complex. The cancerous tumor, it would it would one day become, only the smallest mole on the butt of a then healthy Nation. Yet, even back in the 19th Century, Thoreau wrote, 'All men recognize the right of revolution; that is, the right to refuse allegiance to, and to resist, the government, when its tyranny or its inefficiency are great and unendurable.'

Thoreau, and the people of that time, fully understood that things could go south in a hurry. Now, 167 years later, they have.

Watching Hillary will be fun!

When crooked Hillary gets elected (and she likely will), events will ramp up in at least one area – comedic media coverage!

Hillary, as portrayed by comedians such as veteran Kate McKinnon, and who does such a bang up job on Saturday Night Live, will have great material to work with over the next four years! That is, if the Hill can keep from being impeached! In that event, it would be Tim Kaine's turn to really shine for all the left to enjoy.

No matter what happens, Hillary will be entering into office during an interesting period in our Republic. With International countries on fire, the border bulging with eager refugees and a bankrupted government, she will certainly have all sorts of opportunities to mess up! I personally cannot wait to see just what Mother Hillary does! And sure, it will be hard to see her progress as she does most things under the cover of darkness or behind closed doors, but that's politics! No matter what her methods, she will almost certainly begin by raising up the black man to his 'proper level and standing' in the world. Well, that was a major campaign promise, was it not? That trick I just gotta see....

Then, there is the border thing, as Bush the younger might say. All them tens of millions of refugees who were practically guaranteed to be able to cross en masse, with the promise of free food, housing, education and health insurance. Why, I'd bet my horse that coming on January 21, 2017, they'll be standing 20 or more deep on the southern borders, just waiting for her acceptance speech! And that would be another good chance for media coverage, I'll tell you!

In short order, after the illegal's invasion, after the great stock market crash and after World War III had begun, there will also be a great chance for SNL to parody Hillary's escape from the US as tens of thousands of angry voters chase her sorry ass...

Is the current Gen X kinda of passed out!

Gen X - Political no-shows'
America's young men and women! The so-called Gen X citizens! - Where are they standing when it comes to the pressing issues of the day? I'd surely like to know!

Issues like Obama-Care, Russian aggression, China's aspirations, Iran' nuke and even our domestic energy policy! Have they tuned in or tuned out? Or rather, have they they merely passed out! Maybe feasting on all the pleasures of a society where informational and sensory overload is the meal of choice!

The American's of olden times were largely a hard working and frugal people who knew what it was to save a penny for a rainy day. After all, starvation for them was often just a week or two away! Work brittle and strong, they carved a hard existence out of a then primitive land where early death was a constant companion and hardship the daily shackle of life.

These men built this country!
Contrast those early people of our country with what is going on today. Almost half the population are no longer employed or are on entitlement programs or living at home. Ten thousand, sixty four or older citizens are retiring daily with many marching right into an overloaded health care system where a few are racking up staggering medical costs that grow larger ever day....

Meanwhile, our youth seem less and less inclined to take up the reigns of leadership....Do I blame them...I'm not sure...one thing that is for sure - American exceptionalism is pretty much dead! Party on dudes (extreme sarcasm)!

Glenn Beck guts Obama and Soros like a fish nightly!

Perhaps not every night, but on many nights at 5PM Eastern Standard Time, Glenn Beck’s program on GBTV becomes a torrent of accusations directed at individuals like President Obama and George Soros! In elegant style, he strikes out at their conduct, policies and even their moral fiber. Honestly, I don’t see how either of these individuals take it in the derriere the way they do? The flogging of their character is gruesome, very detailed and rather sickening. So, why are they not responding? Hmm?

Perhaps it’s because everything Mr. Beck says is well researched, verified and true. Gosh it must be pretty darn difficult to fight that.

Random Thoughts for Jan the 25th, 2011

Goofy Goings-on in Chi Town!

Ah Chicago! Don’t you just love the place? A melting pot of political haberdashery where almost anyone can get elected to an y office as long as they are Democrats that is. Up until this time I thought our buddy Blago would forever hold the crown for exercising stupidity in politics, but I might be wrong.

Rahm Emanuel, for the last three months has thrown everything but the kitchen sink into his bid to become Chicago’s new Mayor. He even gained the endorsement of such legends as Bill Clinton while saturating the airwaves with all sorts of clever campaign advertisements. Now with the polls showing him to be a shoo-in, there has been found a fly in his suppository ointment.

Seems an appellate court has ruled him ineligible to run as he failed to meet residency requirements to run for office. What a total bummer Rahm. Now, the other three mayoral candidates are in a mad scramble to capture all those votes that would have gone to him. Rod Blagojevich would be so proud to find out he’s not the only idiot around. Looks to me like Chico will be the main man now.

Speaking of Blagojevich!

Now with the mayor campaign thing in his rear view mirror, perhaps Rahm will have more time to respond to the warrant for him to appear as a person of interest at the upcoming trail of Rod Blagojevich.

Yes, this perennial circus of a trail will kick back into gear starting on April the 20th. Defense lawyers have said that Emanuel would be of interest to them because they believe he would testify that nothing nefarious took place in his conversations with Blagojevich or his staff in late 2008. Emanuel is not accused of wrongdoing at this point.

What is for sure will be some great file footage for the media outlets as once again Blago, and his oh so perfect hair, will grace TV screens across America. I can also hardly wait as the prosecution attempts to rekindle those fires of outrage in a jury that will (more than likely) care less. Talk about old news! While the trail goes on, I’m sure Blago will show up looking like a movie star every morning, shaking hands and smiling at the cameras as an adoring public follows his every word.

For every day the trail goes on, Americans will also get repeated reminders by the Republicans that he is a dyed in the wool Democrat. Talk about collateral damage!

At any rate, this event will give America some comic relief at a time when it can really use it. Someone please let me know if Fitzgerald will be making another appearance! That man is a true glutton for punishment!

Christine O'Donnell gets my vote!

OK, so she was a witch! So Christine O’Donnell was behind on her rent! So she has little experience in Washington! So what? Here’s the deal everyone. The things that look like black marks are also the very things that the voters of Delaware and elsewhere should be looking for in a fresh face for the New Washington.

I think that most of the public, whether they are Democrats, Republicans, Tea Baggers (or idiots like myself) must have suspected for some time now things are not all that great in the good old USA. If you watch any news at all, you become very quickly aware that Washington smells more like the Delaware River than it does a Lilly white shirt. It’s fishy and like house guests that have stayed too long, needs to be shown the door. That means anyone who has been in office should be dumped ASAP. Sitting Democrat or Republican, you’re out. Newbie’s, you’re in! This is the message that needs to be sent to President Obama and the rest of his socialist elite. Only by cleaning out what has become a biblical den of corruption can some of the ills of this nation be healed.  The coming election in November is not really about parties or who will or will not be elected. It is about the survival of our country and as capitalistic and free nation under God.

So, Christine, even though I am not a resident of the fine State of Delaware, my imaginary vote goes out to you. I perceive you as a real human being, full of all the flaws and faults the rest of us share. I realize also, that though you may fumble about as a fledgling Senator, you will be standing in that Hall working for the people of your state and not some special interest. I know you will do your best to shrink government and further the cause of this Republic as opposed Coons, a self-declared Marxist, who would like to see it dissolved.

My name is Dan Owen and I approved this message. You can bet your ass I do! I'm a center line Independent voter, and along with many of my fellow American's, Democratic ass is just what I'll be kicking on November the 2nd.
