A late night addition. This is about guns. In reality, a gun is nothing more than a force multiplier. (It's like a hammer, but with much more reach). Sane individuals would almost rather die than fatally hurt another. Truth be told, killing another human being takes practice, did you know? Soldiers have to be taught to kill, did ya know? (An act that is an otherwise very species aberrant mindset to an extreme).
Yet at times, and in our very recent past, millions of otherwise very kind people have died horribly (WWII, ISIS.etc). With some even turned into
lampshades (circa Lou Reed). My thinking is that true evil walks on cats feet. Eternal vigilance, perhaps is our only defense.
