The Obama administration took aim at
the coal industry on Monday by mandating a 30 percent cut in carbon
emissions at fossil fuel-burning power plants by 2030 -- despite
claims the regulation will cost nearly a quarter-million jobs a year
and force plants across the country to close. The
654 page book of
new regulations (set to go into full effect next year) will add even
more ' regulatory smoke' to the ability of our coal-fired power
plants to stay in operation with any increased costs going right to
the taxpayers in the form of skyrocketing energy costs!
In my opinion, this bone-headed move by
Obama aught to be the last straw in breaking the financial backs of
millions of Americans! Stay tuned everyone, things are about to get
very interesting!
