Forsyth MO. - The Missouri Department of Transportation (MODOT) will be holding a public meeting on September 7, 2017 concerning the Bull Shoals bridge project as construction of the 10.4 million dollar project is planned to kick off the same week!
The meeting will be held from 4:40 PM until 6PM at the Forsyth High School Cafeteria, located at 178 Panther Street in Forsyth.
Beth Schaller, a district engineer for MODOT, stated that the meeting will be informational in nature and will contain display boards outlining the construction timeline which is expected to see completion sometime in the fall of 2018! Construction of the roundabout and how the roundabout will work and where it will be located will also be a part of the September 7 discussion.
During bridge construction (which starts in a few days), motorists can expect one-lane traffic at times, while the new bridge is being erected on the western side of the existing one. During the last two weeks of the project, Highway 76 will be closed so that the new bridge can be connected with the existing highway.
Blogger's Note: This will be a must attend meeting for myself. I'm curious as to how people who commute from areas like Cedar Creek will get to work in places like Hollister?
